The reality of ward rounds’ knowledge of nurses and affected factors at Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, in 2017

Abstract
Objective: To describe the reality of ward rounds' knowledge and determination of some factors affected to the ward rounds' knowledge of nurses and midwives at Hanoi Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2017. Subject and method: Cross-sectional descriptive study using interviewing questionnaires on 66 nurses. Result: 65.2% of nurses and midwives met 80% of ward rounds’ knowledge; nurses/midwives were not trained in ward rounds (accounting 19.8%). Multi-variable analysis showed that professional level had an influence on ward rounds’ knowledge of nurses and midwives. Conclusion: Over 65% of nurses and midwives had full ward rounds’ knowledge. Nearly 1/5 have not been trained in ward rounds. Analysis showed that professional level had an influence on ward-rounds’ knowledge of nurses and midwives.
