Abstract
Summary
Objective: To study the images of gastroscopy and the relationship with SOD, GPx MDA and TAS in patients of chronic gastritis. Subject and method: A descriptive, cross-sectional study. 136 patients with chronic gastritis. Result: Most patients with antrum gastritis (93.4%). Combined lesions in other positions: Anterior opening of stomach (47.8%), body of stomach (16.9%), prepyloric (12.5%), cardiac notch of stomach (12.5%). According to the imaging of endoscopic gastritis used in the Sydney System: 68.4% of cases were diagnosed as congestive gastropathy, 67.6% as raised erosive gastritis, 32.4% as flat erosive gastritis; 25% as enterogastric reflux gastritis, 2.9% as hemorrhagic gastritis and 2.2% as atrophic gastritis. There was no association between endoscopic imaging with SOD, GPx, MDA and TAS. Conclusion: Chronic gastritis is mainly found in the antrum, usually have combined lesions in other positions. According to the imaging of endoscopic gastritis used in the Sydney System most common: Congestive gastropathy, raised erosive gastritis, flat erosive gastritis. There was no association between endoscopic imaging with SOD, GPx, MDA and TAS.
