Abstract

Objective: Research on the result of prosthodontic on the teeth was broken a maximum amount of anterior tooth structure by X.post and Unimetric post- composite core. Subject and method: The study was conducted on 55 teeth of 60 patients who was broken a maximum amount of tooth structure. By chance two groups: Group A (Unimetric post – composite core) with 27 patients (30 teeth); Group B X.post and core with 28 patients (30 teeth) at Department of Odontology, 108 Military Central Hospital from October 2014 to October 2019. Result: After one year of prosthodontic (60/60 teeth), the results of Group A was as good as the results of Group B in 100%; the results failure was not found its in both of the groups. After three years of prosthodontic (57/60 teeth), the good results of the Group A in 78.57%, the Group B was found in 98.65%, the average results of Group A was found in 17.85%, the Group B in 10.35%, the results failure of Group A was found in 3.58%, the results failure was not found in the Group B. After five years of prosthodontic (54/60 teeth), the good results of Group A in 66.66%, the Group B was found in 88.88%, the average results of the Group A was found in 25.92%, the Group B in 10.35%, the results failure of Group A was found in 7.42%, the results failure of the Group B was found in 3.71%. Conclusion: The X.post and core was replaced by Unimetric post–composite core on Prosthodontic of the teeth was broken a maximum amount of Anterior tooth structure to avoid failure of root tooth, to save teeth and money for the patients.
