Related factors and clinical manifestations of patients with psoriasis vulgaris at Ho Chi Minh city Hospital of Dermato-Venereology

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate related factors and clinical manifestations of patients who suffered from psoriasis vulgaris and attended to Hospital of Dermato-Vereneology of Ho Chi Minh City. Subject and method: A cross-sectional study was performed on 150 psoriasis vulgaris patients attending to Ho Chi Minh City Hospital of Dermato-Vereneology from August 2017 to April 2020. Result: The mean age was 48.03 ± 14.13 years with the highest rate observed in group of 40 - 59 years old; the ratio of men and women were similar; Stress was the most influential environment factors of disease with 44% patients, drinking alcohol 22.67%, smoking 22.67%, infection 16%, due to the drug 8.67% and Koebner 8.67%; the duration of illness was less than 5 years 63.33%. Symmetric damage accounted for 90%, nail damage was 89.33%, scalp 85.33%, folds 20%; the severity 45.34%, moderate 37.33% and mild 17.33%. There was a relationship between PASI and duration of illness, nail damage and sclp damage. Conclusion: The most common age psoriasis vulgaris is production age (20 - 59), affected by many factors such as stress, drinking alcohol.... In addition to skin damage specific areas, it also damage nails, folds, scalp lesion. There is a correlation between PASI and duration of illness, nails, scalp damage.
