The status of orofacial pain of a group of dental students and medical students of Hanoi Medical University

Abstract
Objective: Describe the condition of orofacial pain of a group of students of Hanoi Medical University. Subject and method: Sixth year students 2011 - 2017 Hanoi Medical school specialized in dentistry and general medicine. Method: Cross-sectional descriptive study. Result: Dentin sensitivity was highest (74.2%), severe facial pain was the lowest (4.8%). Symptoms of gum sensitivity or pain and arthralgia were 47.2% and 41.1%. Women had more symptoms of orofacial pain than men. The symptoms of orofacial pain appear in the group of general students more than the group of dental student. Conclusion: The dentin sensitivity was the largest ratio. Women had more symptoms of orofacial pain than men.
