Abstract

Objective: To survey the actual situation of anti-HBs concentration and rate of carrying surface antigen of hepatitis B virus of medical staff of 108 Military Central Hospital. Subject and method: 2,403 employees of the hospital was tested for anti-HBs and HBsAg in the blood; research methodology: Cross-sectional description. Result and conclusion: A survey of 2,403 hospital staff on HBV immune status results: 928 employees (38.61%) had HBV surface antigen antibodies (Anti-HBs concentration > 10mUI/ml on Abbott's Architect i2000 machine); 1,475 employees (61.39%) did not have antibodies (Anti-HBs concentration < 10mUI/ml); 31 employees (1.29%) were positive for HBsAg (S/CO > 1).
