Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the initial effect of celiac plexus blocking with absolute alcohol injection under computed tomography and Maxio robot guidance. Subject and method: A prospective, descriptive study was carried out on 12 patients, who had indication of celiac plexus blocking by absolute alcohol for pain relief from June 2018 to June 2019 in 108 Military Central Hospital. Result: Most of the patients had pancreatic cancer. The average VAS score before block was 7. Almost approaches were from the back side. 83% of patients had VAS score reduced ≥ 2 after 2 weeks. Diarrhea was the most common complication. Conclusion: Celiac plexus blocking with absolute alcohol under computed tomography and robot Maxio guidance had high accuracy, efficacy and low complication rate.
