Abstract
Objective: Comparison the effect postoperative analgesic of laparotomy total hysterectomy of epidural anesthesia using levobupivacaine 0.075% versus bupivacaine 0.075%, both of them combined with fentanyl 1mcg/ml and adrenaline 5mcg/ml. Subject and method: Study randomized clinical trials, 70 women patients on laparotomy total hysterectomy, analgesia postoperative with epidural anesthesia, divided into two groups: LEVO group used solution of levobupivacaine 0.075% and BUPI group used solution of bupivacaine 0.075%, both groups combined with fentanyl 1mcg/mL and adrenaline 5mcg/ml (adrenaline 1/200000). Result: Effective postoperative analgesia of LEVO group equivalent with BUPI group (VAS static and dynamic equivalent status in the first 24 hours and second 24 hours; VAS static < 2 and VAS dynamic < 6 at all times in both study groups). The patients' satisfaction with the analgesic effects also no statistical significance difference between the two study groups (level of satisfaction and very satisfied of LEVO group was 77.14% compared with 82.86% of the BUPI group). Conclusion: The effect postoperative analgesic of laparotomy total hysterectomy of epidural anesthesia using levobupivacaine 0.075% combined with fentanyl 1mcg/ml and adrenaline 5mcg/mL equivalent to bupivacaine 0.075% combined with fentanyl coordination 1mcg/ml and adrenaline 5mcg/ml.
