Abstract

Objective: Comment on the distribution of some common cystic radiolucent lesions in the lower jaw and root involvement. Subject and method: Medical records of 79 patients. Method: Cross-sectional descriptive study. Result: The highest rate was dental cysts (67.1%), the three types of lesions with the highest incidence were root cysts (30.4%), meningioma (30.4%) and crown cysts (25.3%). Meningioma tumors usually do not push out the root (81%), which can destroyed root (23.8%) or cutter type (19.1%). Conclusion: Root cyst accounted for the highest rate, then meningioma and crown cyst.
