Abstract

Objective: Study on the value of abdominal ultrasonography in the diagnosis of hepatic hemangioma. Subject and method: 229 patients were diagnosed with hepatic hemangioma based on ultrasonography and scintigraphy from January 2015 to December 2017. Result: Hepatic hemangioma was more common at ages 40 to 70 years. The proportion of female/male: 1.29. Hepatic hemangioma occurred in the right liver lobe (89.5%), hyperechoic (97.4%), 01 liver tumors (94.3%), tumor size: 10 - 19mm: 39.6%. The efficiency of hemangioma diagnosis using ultrasound with sensitivity 91.2%, specificity 84.6%. Conclusion: Abdominal ultrasonography is of high value in the diagnosis of hepatic hemangioma.
