Abstract

Objective: To determine the number of CD4, CD8 T cells in the blood of psoriasis vulgaris patients before and after treatment with NB-UVB plus low-dose methotrexate at Department of Dermato-venereology Allergology, 108 Military Central Hospital from May 2016 to May 2018. Subject and method: 35 patients apply UVB-311nm once/day in 5 days/week plus oral methotrexate 7.5mg/week, treatment for 4 weeks. Result: Before and after treatment, the number of CD4 T cells: 682.34 ± 311.18 and 511.37 ± 217.33 (cell/µl), p<0.01; CD8 T cells: 613.09 ± 417.12 and 419.71 ± 194.58 (cell/µl), p<0.01. There has no relation between the disease level and the number of CD4, CD8 T cells. Conclusion: The number of CD4, CD8 T cells in blood of psoriasis patients after NB-UVB plus low-dose methotrexate treatment has been significantly reduced compared with before treatment. No relation between the disease level and the number of CD4, CD8 T cells.
