Abstract

Objective: To compare the results of the number of oocytes, the number of mature oocytes and the number of embryo between the two groups which are hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) alone group and hCG combined with GnRH agonist (GnRHa) in the group of patients who responded to the application. Subject and method: The study was conducted on 175 patients who met the intensity of just performing in vitro fertilization cycles at the Military Institute of clinical Embryology and Histology, Vietnam Military Medical University, divided into two groups. Result: Number of mature oocytes (7.56 ± 4.01 and 6.23 ± 3.13, p=0.015), number of fertilized oocytes (5.44 ± 3.57 and 4.29 ± 2.74, p=0.018), number of explosions on day 3 (4.92 ± 2.98 and 3.89 ± 2.38, p=0.012), number of invitations on day 5 (3.38 ± 2.44 and 2.52 ± 1.95, p=0.011), good number born on day 5 (1.48 ± 1.71 and 0.97 ± 1.41, p=0.030). Conclusion: Using the dual trigger increases the number of mature oocytes, the number of 2PN embryos and the number of day 3 embryos, blastocysts as well as good quality day 5 embryos compared to using hCG alone in normal ovarian responders.
