Abstract

Previous lower uterine segment caesarean scar defect is an uncommon complication after cesarean section. This pathology often causes dysfunctional uterine bleeding, persistence of fluid over cesarean scar defect, dysmenorrhea, and less commonly, secondary infertility. In our practice, we encountered out two cases of secondary infertility following cesarean section were treated, but there are still many unclear issues about the aetiology of previous caesarean scar defects and secondary infertility following cesarean section, as well as the management of this group of patients. We rediscovered the literature review to improve our understanding of this issue.
