Abstract
Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) combined with direct cholangiography using the SpyGlass system is an important step forward, the most advanced technique currently in the diagnosis and treatment of biliary tract diseases. Our two clinical cases have successfully applied this technique to crush large common bile duct stones, detect biliary polyps and perform targeted biopsies. The use of SpyGlass helps to directly observe the lesions, improve the accuracy of diagnosing biliary tract cancer, treat large biliary tract stones, and help patients avoid invasive methods with many risks such as infection, bleeding and biliary stricture.
