Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the results of full- denture implantation on 6 patients at 108 Military Central Hospital. Subject and method: A descriptive cross-sectional, prospective study on 6 patients full-denture implantation (upper or lower jaw) with 36 implants at Department of Odontology, 108 Military Central Hospital. Result: Dimension implant (length and diameter): The most used implant length was 10mm with 50% and the less was 13mm with 22.2%, diameter 3.75mm: 44.4% and 4.8mm: 33.4%. Postoperative initial stability in a range of 30 - 50N/cm2. Bone loss were found axially placed implants after 6, 12-months: 0.268 ± 0.17mm, 0.575 ± 0.12mm, and tilted implants after 6, 12 months:  0.361 ± 0.14mm, 0.6 ± 0.15mm. Function and esthetic were good on 6 patients. Conclusion: The results of full- denture implantation on edentulous patients have high success rate.
