Abstract

Objective: To evaluate of patient care outcomes after laparoscopic hepatectomy for hepatocellular carcinoma. Subject and method: A retrospective review of patient care outcomes after laparoscopic liver resection for hepatocellular carcinoma from January 2019 to April 2021 at 108 Military Central Hospital. Result: This study included 52 patients undergoing laparoscopic hepatectomy for hepatocellular carcinoma, the mean age was 56.5 ± 12.8 years. The ratio of males and females was 9.4. ASA II was the largest share accounting for 82.7%. The percentage of minor resection was 69.2%. The mean duration time of the first diet after surgery was 1.2 ± 0.7 days. The postoperative length of hospital stay was 8.8 ± 3.8 days. The common postoperative complication proportion was 11.4%. There was no mortality case after surgery. The outcomes of taking care was: Good (92.3%) and moderate (7.7%). Conclusion: The outcomes of taking care of patients after laparoscopic hepatectomy for hepatocellular carcinoma at 108 Military Central Hospital were good.
