Abstract

Objective: To analyze the hospital drug formulary used at 108 Military Central Hospital in 2020 and analyze this drug list according to ABC/VEN analysis. Subject and method: Using retrospective research method to analyze the hospital drug formulary from 1^st Jan. 2020 to 31^th Dec. 2020. Result: This list includes 1773 items, divided into 24 groups, the highest was anti-neoplastic and immunomodulating agents drugs. Foreign drugs dominated (77.0%), imported the most from Germany, drugs with trade names accounted for 59.1% in value, single-component drugs accounted for the majority with 84.4% in it. The hospital budget was most concentrated on group A (78.5% according to ABC), group E (60.4% according to VEN), group AN accounted for 11.4% in value. Conclusion: The study analyzed the structure of the drug list in general and the list of drugs according to the ABC and VEN classifications used at 108 Military Central Hospital in 2020, thereby showing the role of the Drug and Treatment Council in selecting and purchasing. procurement, ensuring effectiveness in prescribing and meeting the treatment needs of patients
