Abstract

Objective: To evaluate clinical symptoms and some characteristics related to pain in Parkinson’s disease patients. Subject and method: 107 patients with Parkinson’s disease diagnosed based on criteria of United Kingdom Parkinson’s Disease Society Brain Bank consulted in National Geriatric Hospital were examined from July 2018 to May 2019. Result and conclusion: 65.4% patients experienced pain symptom. Pain was most common in the age group 60 to 69 years. Pain severity increased with stage and duration of the disease.
