Observing clinical characteristics of breast cancer luminal molecular subtype

Abstract

Summary


Objective: To observe some relations between clinical features and breast cancer luminal molecular subtypes. Subject and method: 239 breast cancer patients were classified as luminal subtypes by IHC stain and evaluating relations to clinical features. Result: While luminal A (LUMA) was the highest rate in old group (45.8%), stage I (39.4%), and low-moderate risk categories (11.5% and  66.7%), luminal B (LUMB) was accounted more common in younger (58.4%), stage II (74.3%), and high-risk group (37.8%). Conclusion: LUMA is associated in the better clinical factors than LUMB subtype.
