Abstract

Summary


Objective: Comparison of physical development of children born by the method of transferring fresh and frozen embryos. Subject and method: Study of prospective cohort on 90 babies born by fresh embryo transfer method and 270 babies born by frozen embryo transfer method at 5 - 30 months of age were examined in 2015 - 2018 at Tu Du Hospital, regardless of gender, in Ho Chi Minh city. Result and conclusion: There was no difference in physical development (weight, height, BMI, classification of overweight and moderate-severe malnutrition) between the two in vitro fertilization groups that transferred fresh and frozen embryos.
