Phân tích danh mục thuốc sử dụng tại Bệnh viện Đa khoa Phú Yên năm 2024 - 2025

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the structure of the drug formulary used at Phu Yen General Hospital from 01/10/2024 to 30/09/2025 by therapeutic groups, routes of administration and ABC/VEN classification, proposing optimization strategies for the subsequent year. Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study using retrospective analysis of pharmacy stock movement records. ABC/VEN analysis was performed according to Circular 21/2013/TT-BYT; data were processed with Microsoft Excel 2020. Results: The drug formulary comprised 610 drugs across 27 pharmacological groups, totaling VND 106,004,038,407 - a 3.33% increase over 2024. The antiparasitic and antimicrobial group accounted for the largest share (29.03%). Domestic drugs represented 66.23% of items and 70.54% of value. ABC analysis: Group A - 79 drugs (78.81% of value); Group B - 121 drugs (16.17%); Group C - 410 drugs (5.03%). VEN analysis: V 7.54%; E 81.15%; N 11.31%. ABC/VEN matrix: Group I (AV+AE+AN+BV+CV) - 116 items comprising 80.86% of total consumption value; Group III (CN) - 48 items comprising only 0.47%. Conclusion: The drug formulary was broadly consistent with the hospital's medication use needs. Priority should focus on rigorous control of Group I drugs, reduction of AN items, removal of underutilized CN items, and supplementation of Empagliflozin and Rivaroxaban 20mg (tier 2) to meet clinical needs.
