Technique for implantation of sutureless aortic valve

Abstract
The sutureless aortic valve represents a new generation of biological prostheses, designed based on the principles of transcatheter aortic valve replacement but adapted for surgical implantation. Its main advantages include shortening aortic cross-clamp and cardiopulmonary bypass times, as well as optimizing postoperative hemodynamics. Although sutureless aortic valve replacement has been adopted in several countries worldwide, this technique has not yet been routinely applied in Vietnam. We report the first clinical case of sutureless aortic valve replacement using the Perceval Plus (Corcym, Italy), successfully performed at Bach Mai Hospital. This report aims to describe the surgical steps in detail and discuss important considerations for the implementation of this technique.
