Treatment of Ota’s nevus by picosecond laser at 108 Military Central Hospital

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of treatment Ota’s nevus by picosecond laser Nd:YAG 1064nm. Subjects and methods: A cros-sectional descriptive study of ota’s nevus was conducted by reviewing the clinical characteristics and photographs of fourty-four patients (ages from 2 years to 43 years). The patients were treated at the 108 Military Central Hospital with a picosecond Nd:YAG 1064nm from August 2023 to July 2024, every 4 - 6 weeks. Statisticaly analysis was used to compare outcomes and determine contributing factors. Result: All patients obtained clinical improvement ranging from good to very good after 6 sections. Conclusion: Our results suggest that 1064nm picosecond laser treatment is efficacious for the treatment of nevus of Ota with minimum adverse side effects
