Đánh giá việc thực hiện kết quả trúng thầu thuốc tại Bệnh viện quận Phú Nhuận, thành phố Hồ Chí Minh năm 2023-2024

Abstract

In Vietnam, the implementation of drug bidding results related to in-time and reasonable supply of drugs, and at the same time enforcing the rules of the Ministry of Health for public hospital. Objective: To evaluate the implementation of drug bidding result by Phu Nhuan District Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City, during the 2023-2024 period, to adjust and to select medicines that ensure quality standards and price stability, contributing to improving the efficiency of medical examination and treatment. Subject and method: Cross-sectional descriptive study design, retrospective review of the list of winning drugs and the list of drugs implemented according to the winning bid results from September 14, 2023 to September 13, 2024.Results: A total of 484 drugs were procured for use out of 528 drugs that won bids, achieving a relatively high implementation rate of 91.67% in terms of items and 87.69% in terms of total value. Among them, the implementation rate by value for generic drug packages was 88.95%, higher than that of originator drug packages, which was 79.56%. The implementation rate by value for generic drugs in each group met the regulatory requirements (above 80%), with the Group 4 drugs, which are domestically produced in Vietnam, achieved an implementation value rate of 92.09%, higher than that of Group 1 (82.16%) and Group 2 (84.67%). The list of drugs implemented based on bidding results comprised 23 pharmacological groups, with cardiovascular drugs having both the highest winning bid value and the highest implementation value. Conclusions: Overall, the implemented winning bid drug list at the hospital met regulatory requirements, and the quantity and value of drugs procurement packages organized by the hospital are close to the winning bid results.
