Đặc điểm lâm sàng, cận lâm sàng và kết quả phẫu thuật sỏi đường mật tại Bệnh viện Đa khoa tỉnh Hưng Yên từ tháng 3/2023 đến tháng 3/2025

Abstract

Objective: To review clinical and paraclinical characteristics and evaluate the results of open choledochotomy for gallstone removal in patients with biliary stones at Hung Yen General Hospital. Subject and method: A descriptive, cross-sectional study of a case series, both retrospective and prospective, without comparison, on 32 patients who underwent open choledochotomy for gallstones at the Department of Surgery, Hung Yen General Hospital from March 2023 to March 2025. Result: 32 cases of open surgery to remove stones, aged 43 - 90 years old, female accounted for 71.9%. The most common clinical symptoms were right hypochondriac pain (87.5%), fever (15.6%), jaundice (9.4%). The rate of stone-free after surgery was 75%, paraclinical indicators improved well after surgery, especially bilirubin (p<0.001), the rate of postoperative complications was 21.9%, the average length of stay after surgery was 15.5 ± 3.35 days. Conclusion: Open common bile duct surgery to remove stones is a safe and effective method in the treatment of biliary tract stones, the rate of stone removal is relatively high, the rate of complications and adverse events is low.
