Abstract

Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluation the relationship between the variations of Willis circle found on 64-row detector CT with cerebral artery diseases. Subject and method: This is a cross-sectional study of 284 patients that were treated at 103 Military Hospital from Apr. 2023 to Jan. 2024 and were performed CTA by 64-row detector CT. The comparisons of the variations of Willis circle with stroke infarction status and cerebral artery diseases were performed. Result: The study included 89 complete, 152 partial-complete and 43 non-complete Willis circle configuration. There were no differences between the portion of infarction, stenosis, aneurysm and arteriovenous malformation in the variation groups. Conclusion: There were no association between the variations of Willis circle with the infarction and cerebral artery diseases.
