Knowledge regarding breast seft - examination among women who come for gynecological examinaion at 108 Military Central Hospital in 2023

Abstract
Objective: To describe knowledge of breast self-examination and breast cancer detection of women coming for gynecological examination at 108 Military Central Hospital in 2023. Subject and method:
A cross-sectional descriptive study on 385 women. Women came for gynecological examination at 108 Military Central Hospital in the period from March to October 2023. Result: 41.8% of people had general knowledge about disease prevention, 43.9% of people had general knowledge of disease prevention. Regarding breast self-examination, 44.4% of people had knowledge about clinical breast examination, 41.6% of people had knowledge about the role of mammography, 67.5% of people correctly handle situations related to breast examination; and 37.1% of people correctly handle 5 steps in breast examination. Conclusion: Patients' knowledge about the disease and breast self-examination is still limited, it is necessary to promote health education communication about the disease to the community, especially for women.
