Results of treatment on children infected blood candidemia by Candida spp.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate results of treatment on children injected blood candidemia by Candida spp. Subject and method: A descriptive, longitudinal study of treatment results of 90 neonates admitted to Children’s Hospital 1 from June 2014 to June 2019 diagnosed with candidiasis of blood. Result and conclusion: Sensitivity of 100% to amphotericin B, 92.3% sensitive to fluconazole. The duration of treatment continued after negative blood cultures was 12.4 ± 4.4 days. The average duration of antifungal treatment was 19.3 ± 2.2 days. The death rate of blood Candida infection was 26.7%.
