Left atrial myxoma combined with coronary artery disease: A case report

Abstract
Left atrial myxoma combined with coronary artery disease isa rare condition in Vietnamese. We would like to share our experience in the diagnosis and treatment a cases of left atrial myxoma combined with coronary artery stenosis successfully undergone emergency surgery. This 64 years old patient with smoking history was admitted for acute heart failure and chest pain. Preoperative echocardiography showed acute mitral stenosis due to a large left atrial myxoma (29 × 44mm). Coronary angiography presented severe stenosis of the right coronary artery (95%). The patient underwent simultaneous left atrial myxoma removal and coronary bypass grafting to the right coronary artery using a reversed saphenous vein graft. The postoperative course was uneventful and patient remained tumor-free after 5 months of follow-up.
