Phân tích danh mục thuốc sử dụng tại Bệnh viện Phụ sản Hải Phòng năm 2021

Abstract

Objective: To identify some of the existing issues within the medication list used at the hospital. Subject and method: The medication list used (including the list of medications exported, imported, and in stock) at Hai Phong Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 01/01/2021 to 31/12/2021. Result: In 2021, Hai Phong Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology used 179 drug items, approximately equivalent to 15.9 billion Vietnamese dong (VND). Imported drugs were used at a high rate in terms of both the number of items and value (>40%). The most common route of administration was injections and infusions, accounting for 74.9% of the medication items and 88.3% of the value. Generic drugs were predominantly used (>93.2% by value), as well as single-component drugs (99.5% by value). The distribution of medication items was as follows: Grade A: 10.1%, Grade B: 14.5%, Grade C: 75.4%. Grade A drugs consisted of 7 groups of therapeutic effects, including 3 groups specific to obstetrics specialties: the medications used for treating parasitic infections and preventing infections; medications for labor induction, controlling postpartum bleeding, and preventing preterm birth; and anesthetic medications. The hospital used one AN drug called Haisamin. Conclusion: The structure of the medication list used at Hai Phong Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2021 is relatively reasonable in terms of medication groups, origins, routes of administration, components, and generic drugs. The procurement structure of medications at Hai Phong Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2021 is reasonable in terms of the proportion of medication items in Grades A, B, and C.
