Phân tích sử dụng thuốc kháng sinh điều trị nội trú tại Bệnh viện Trung ương Quân đội 108 trong 6 tháng đầu năm 2023

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the list of antibiotics used in inpatient treatment at 108 Military Central Hospital in the first or year 2023. Subject and method: A cross-sectional study was conducted to analyze 116 antibiotics from inpatient wards. The monitoring of antimicrobial consumption was performed the pharmacy records and presented as defined daily dose (DDD) and DDD/100bed-days. Result and conclusion: The percentage of items and use-value of antibiotics used in inpatient treatement were 10.4% and 17.8%, respectively. Beta-lactam antibiotics were mainly used (made up 44.07% of items and 63.43% of use-value). Parenteral antibiotics accounted for 68.1% of items and 99.4% of use-value. Generic antibiotics were used mainly as single-component drugs. Imported antibiotics accounted for 59.5% of items and 67.02% in use-value. Total DDD/100bed-days of antibiotics was 57.2, inside quinolones and third-generation cephlosporins had the highest DDD/100 bed-days. The Institude of Trauma-Orthopedics had the highest total dose of antibiotic DDD (19,953.5 DDD, accounting for 14.4%). Notably, antibiotics which need to be managed according to the Decision 5631/QĐ-BYT accounted for a high proportion (respectively, 43.1% of items and 54.8% of use-value).
