Khảo sát đặc điểm bệnh nhân và tình hình sử dụng thuốc của bệnh nhân ngoại trú có sử dụng bảo hiểm y tế tại Bệnh viện Trung ương Quân đội 108

Abstract

Objective: To survey the characteristics of outpatients and using drugs that treated with medical insurance at 108 Military Central Hospital. Subject and method: A cross-sectional descriptive and recovery data study. Collect data from 400 prescriptions of patients using medical insurance at 108 Military Central Hospital from December 1^st, 2022 to December 31th, 2022. Result: The average age was 62.75 ± 14.56 years old (13-91 years) in which male accounted for 56.5%; female accounted 43.5%. The most common group of diseases was the circulatory system group (38.34%). The average number of drugs in a prescription was 6.18 ± 2.27 drugs. The number of prescriptions for groups of > 5 drugs accounted for highest proportion (59.8%) while groups of 2-3 drugs accounted for a small proportion of  10.5%. The rate of prescriptions with drug interactions was 44.8%. Of which, the number of prescriptions with clinically significant interactions accounted for 27.93%. The number of prescriptions with 1 interaction accounted for the highest rate of 82%. The number of prescriptions with 3 interactions accounted for the lowest rate of 2%. Conclusion: Most of the patients who come for examination and treatment using health insurance at the 108 Military Central Hospital are elderly with many underlying diseases. Therefore, It is necessary to control of the patient’s background diseases and drug interactions in the patient’s prescription.
