Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the result of transperitoneal laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy at 108 Military Central Hospital. Subject and method: Retrospective study of 38 cases, which were treated by transperitoneal laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy at Department of Urology, 108 Military Central Hospital, from March 2017 to September 2019. Result: 38 cases consisted of 32 males (84.2%) and 6 females (15.8%) with average age of 34.5 ± 10.77 years old, left nephrectomy 29 cases (76.3%), right nephrectomy 9 cases (23.7%), 38 cases which were treated by transperitoneal laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy: 30 cases (79%) donor kidneys had a artery and a vein, 7 cases (18.4%) had 2 artery and a vein, 1 cases (2.6%) had a artery and 2 veins. The mean duration of procedure was 194 ± 48 minutes (90 - 290 minutes). The mean of warm ischemia time was 2 minutes 23 seconds. There was a case of post-operative bleeding and hemostatic operative, a case which need to give a blood transfusion. The mean post-operation hospital stay was 5.10 ± 1.43 days. Conclusion: Transperitoneal laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy is a method with low trauma, high efficiency and safety.
