Abstract

Pilonidal sinusitis is a rare disease, surgical treatment is the main method. There are many different surgical methods to treat pilonidal disease, the commonly used methods (include removing the sinus cavity with flap covering or opening the wound), the methods are to remove the sinus cavity to open or shape the flap covering the wound to leave a large wound, complex care to reduce the quality of life of the patient. In 2013, Professor Meireno performed an endoscopic surgery to treat this disease with good outcomes amputated sinusitis (Endoscopic pilonidal sinus treatment - EPSiT) to bring good results, simple care, improving patient's quality of life. This article aims to report a patient who was treated by EPSiT at the Colorectal Surgery Department of Viet Duc University Hospital.
