Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of stem cell creating procedures from bone marrow fluid in decompensated alcoholic cirrhosis by cell density gradient centrifugation. Subject and method: 10 patients with alcoholic cirrhosis aged 34-59 years old, each patient was aspirated about 240ml of bone marrow fluid from the iliac crest, anticoagulated with 60ml of heparin solution, performed the extraction procedure and reduced-volume concentrate by density gradient centrifugation. Result: The product stem cell mass had a nucleated cell concentration of 34.13 ± 26.41G/l, a CD34+ stem cell concentration of 534.28 ± 316.97 cells/µl. The survival rate of CD34+ stem cells was 88.65 ± 10.09%. The granulocyte and red blood cell removal rates were 90.09 ± 10.82% and 99.59 ± 0.23%, respectively. The number of CD34+ hematopoietic stem cell was 16.03 ± 9.48×106 cells, equal 59.88 ± 22.59%. 100% of stem cell mass were negative for bacterial and fungal cultures. Conclusion: The bone marrow stem cell angiogenesis procedure of patients with decompensated alcoholic cirrhosis almost completely removed components such as neutropil, red blood cells hemoglobin and obtained stem cell mass with dark. The level and percentage of cells are suitable for treatment.
