Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the outcome of nursing care of patients after liver transplantation at the Department of Surgical resuscitation and Organ transplantation, 108 Military Central Hospital. Subject and method: A descriptive, prospective study, 64 patients after liver transplantation treated at the Department of surgical resuscitation and organ transplantation, 108 Military Central Hospital from January 2022 to February 2023. Result: In the first 5 days after transplantation, the hemodynamic status was stable, 61 patients (96%) had dry incisions. 48 patients (75%) had surgical drainage removed at day 3 post-transplant. VAS (Visual Analog Scale) of day 1 after transplantation was 2.3 ± 1.4, 9.8% of patients were eating normally on day 5 post-transplant. Conclusion: The postoperative care outcome of liver transplant patients at the Department of surgical resuscitation and organ transplantation was good.
