Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the results of concurrent chemoradiation therapy in patients with nasopharyngeal cancer at National Otolaryngology Hospital. Subject and method: The retrospective study followed up on 50 patients with nasopharyngeal cancer being treated with concurrent chemoradiotherapy at National Otolaryngology Hospital. Duration of treatment is from 2019 to 2022. Result: Overall complete response rate was 92%; complete response in tumor was 96%; complete lymph node response was 95%. Acute and chronic complications were mainly grade 2. Conclusion: The overall response rate to chemotherapy and radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal cancer is high; However, the follow-up time is not long, so the rate of recurrence and metastasis after treatment has not been evaluated.
