Evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment of paranoid schizophrenia patients who had a poor response to drugs by electric shock

Abstract
Objective: To assess the effectiveness and undesirable effects of the electric shock treatment in paranoid schizophrenia patients who had a poor response to drugs. Subject and method: Interventional, prospective, cross-sectional descriptive study on 15 paranoid schizophrenia patients. Result: 100% of all patients had stable behavior and no longer had paranoia. Conclusion: The electric shock treatment had a good effect in the treatment of paranoid schizophrenia patients who had poor response to drugs
