Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the surgical treatment outcomes of patients with ampullary tubal ectopic pregnancy after IVF. Subject and method: We performed a cross-sectional, retrospective descriptive study at National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology. A total of 179 medical records of patients with ampullary tubal ectopic pregnancy IVF treated with surgery from 1/2018 to 12/2021. Result: Laparoscopic treatment success was 97.8%, salpingectomy 89.9%, average length of stay in hospital was 3.9 ± 1.9 days, mainly ≤ 3 days (67.6%). Conclusion: Early diagnostics and detection of the potential dangers for timely intervention will contribute greatly to surgical treatment outcomes and reduce chances of ectopic pregnancy complication.
