Abstract

Pulmonary aneurysm is a rare disease of the blood vessels in the lungs. The etiology is diverse and may arise from infection, malignancy, congenital heart disease, or vasculitis. Symptoms are often nonspecific, making diagnosis and prophylaxis difficult. Coughing up blood due to ruptured aneurysm is a serious event that can be life-threatening if not treated promptly. We report 01 clinical case of severe hemoptysis due to ruptured pulmonary aneurysm who was successfully treated with embolization and lobectomy at 108 Military Central Hospital.
