Abstract
Although rare, colonic perforation is a serious complication of colonoscopy. Early diagnosis and management are important to decrease morbidity. With the advances of interventional endoscopy, endoscopic management of initial perforations can help avoid heavy surgical intervention. We present a case of perforated sigmoid diverticulum during colonoscopy, which was successful endoscopic closure of colon perforation with clips.
