Đánh giá tình hình sử dụng chế phẩm máu tại Bệnh viện Trung ương Quân đội 108 từ tháng 1 năm 2019 đến tháng 8 năm 2020

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the situation of blood components used at 108 Military Central Hospital from 1/2019 to 8/2020. Subject and method: Retrospective analysis of data of blood component units were distributed to patients at 108 Military Central Hospital from 1/2019 to 8/2020. Result: The amount of blood components used at 108 Central Military Hospital from 1/2019 to 8/2020 was 51,571 blood component units: There were 22,965 units of pack red blood cells; 25,966 units of fresh frozen plasma, 2,354 units of platelets isolated by machine; 286 units of cryoprecipitates VIII factor. There was a decrease in trend of using blood components during two months from January to February each year. Using fresh frozen plasma, platelets isolated by machine, cryoprecipitates VIII factor increased gradually. In the ABO blood group system, blood group O was used the most with the rate of 43%, followed by B group at the rate of 28.3%, a blood group at the rate of 22.1% and AB blood group at the rate of 6.6%. The departments using the most blood components were: Department of Gastroenterology (492 units/month), Department of Chemotherapy and Blood Diseases (363 units/month) and the Active Rehabilitation Deparment (ICU) (664 units/month). Conclusion: The total amount of blood components used to be 51571 units. There was a decrease in trend of using blood components during two months from January to February each year. The blood components units had the tendency to change according to the situation of COVID-19. The departments using the most blood components are: Department of gastroenterology, Department of Chemotherapy and Blood Diseases and the Active Rehabilitation Deparment (ICU). The usage of other blood components such as platelet isolated by machine, cryoprecipitates VIII factor depended on the situation of the diseases and the components supply at each time.
