Abstract

Nowadays, people's life expectancy is increasing, but people living to 100 years old are not many, 105 years old is even rarer. Anesthesia and surgery for the elderly often face many risks. For people over 100 years old who need surgery, it is extremely important to choose an appropriate method of anesthesia to help the patient tolerate the surgery be safe, recover quickly, return to normal activities and activities soon are so important. Clinical case report: Regional anesthesia and combined analgesia for surgery intertrochanteric in a 105-year-old patient: Lateral femoral cutaneous nerve (LFCN) to relieve pain in preparation for spinal anesthesia; Spinal anesthesia combined with the epidural catheter for pain relief during and after surgery.
