Abstract
Objective: To review and comment on some factors related to the care outcomes after maxillofacial trauma surgery at 108 Military Central Hospital. Subject and method: Prospective, cross-sectional study of 182 patients with simple maxillofacial trauma, was treated at the Department of Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery - 108 Military Central Hospital, from November 2020 to December 2021. Result: There was a statistically significant relationship between patients with and without comorbidities, with and without postoperative complications, dental care once time/day and ≥ 2 times/day, drainage time withdrawal ≤ 48h and > 48h, with and without psychological care, counseling with outcome of care. Conclusion: To improve the quality of treatment and care for patients with maxillofacial trauma, it is necessary to pay attention to factors such as good treatment of comorbidities, limitation of postoperative complications, early drainage, especially focus on psychological care and counseling for patients
