Evaluation of results of living donor liver transplantation for hepatocellular carcinoma

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the results of living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in 108 Military Central Hospital. Subject and method: Retrospective study of 55 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma who received living donor liver transplantation from October 2017 to June 2022 in 108 Military Central Hospital. Result: 56.4% met the UCSF criteria, and 43.6% met the Milan criteria. The number of patients with complications was 19 (34.5%) patients, with no cases of postoperative mortality. The 1-year and 3-year overall survival and disease-free survival rates were 95.7%, 89.7% and 90.6%, 86.6%, respectively. HCC recurrence was 9 (16.4%) patients. Conclusion: Living donor Liver transplantation for HCC is a safe and effective method.
