The value of the three-point Frailsafe screening questions in the prognosis of older patients at Emergency Department of 108 Military Central Hospital in 2020

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate value of the three-point Frailsafe screening questions in the prognosis of older patients in Emergency Department of 108 Military Central Hospital. Subject and method: 636 older patients treated at Emergency Department from January 2020 to June 2020. Method: A prospective, cross-sectional descriptive study. Result: The group with Frailsafe positive had a higher mortality rate within 180 days, 30 Day Re-Attendance Post Hospital Discharge, Re-Attendance within 30 Days to ED, and longer length of hospital stay than the negative group, respectively 1.83, 1.99, 2.23 and 1.91 times, p<0.05. Conclusion: The Frailsafe was useful in predicting events in older patients at the Emergency Department.
