Early awakening (89.1%), fatigue in the morning and reduced or no sexual activity (84.8%). Depression in patients with type 2 diabetes was mostly mild, accounting for 84.8%. Patients had good adherence with the selection of foods, except fish (34.8%), fruit (21.7%) for the food group that should be eaten; good adherence to the physical activity regimen accounted for 54.4%, however, there were still 21.7% of patients who did not participate regardless of the type of physical activity. Patient compliance with medication accounted for 71.7%, compliance with home blood glucose measurement (≥ 2 times/week) accounted for 30.4% and the majority of patients complied with the 1 time periodical health check regimen. Conclusion: Clinical symptoms of depression can easily be confused with symptoms of type 2 diabetes, so need to be noticed when examining and initially show that the patient understands and adheres to the treatment adherence.
