Abstract
Objective: To assess nutritional status of patients on hemodialysis in 108 Military Central Hospital. Subject and method: Using subjective global assessment (SGA) to assess nutritional status of 69 chronic renal failure patients treating with hemodialysis at Department of Nephrology and Hemodialysis, 108 Military Central Hospital. Result: 31.9% of patients had malnutrition (SGA B), 34.8% of patients consulted about the rule of nutrition, the rate of malnutrition was bigger in the group of patients who are not on a diet; not recognized any relations between malnutrition with some factors such as: Duration of hemodialysis, background diseases, albumin serum, BMI. Conclusion: The result of SGA is better in the group of patients who are on a diet. It is necessary to persuade patients having a good nutritional regulation.
