Nghiên cứu đặc điểm kích thước vòm miệng ở trẻ em và người trưởng thành Việt Nam

Mục tiêu: Đánh giá sự khác biệt theo tuổi và giới về các kích thước vòm miệng. Đối tượng và phương pháp: Thực hiện trên 120 phim CBCT người bình thường (60 nam, 60 nữ) chia theo ba nhóm tuổi: Nhóm I: < 15 tuổi, nhóm II: 15 - 30 tuổi, nhóm III: > 30 tuổi. Các biến số nghiên cứu gồm chiều dài, chiều rộng và độ sâu vòm miệng. Kết quả: Chiều rộng vòm miệng ở các nhóm tuổi I, II, III lần lượt là 33,60 ± 2,81cm, 36,42 ± 2,43cm, 36,93 ± 6,39cm, chiều dài vòm miệng lần lượt là 40,78 ± 4,68cm, 43,72 ± 3,58cm, 45,66 ± 4,71cm chiều sâu vòm miệng lần lượt là 14,73 ± 3,87cm, 16,09 ± 3,30cm, 15,15 ± 3,74cm. Kết luận: Chiều dài và chiều rộng vòm miệng giữa trẻ em và người trưởng thành khác biệt có ý nghĩa. Nữ giới có vòm miệng ngắn hơn có ý nghĩa so với nam, nhưng độ rộng và độ sâu vòm miệng không khác biệt.
