Mục tiêu: Xác định nồng độ IgE toàn phần huyết thanh và mối liên quan với các đặc điểm dịch tễ, lâm sàng ở bệnh nhân mày đay mạn tính đến khám tại Bệnh viện Da liễu thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. Đối tượng và phương pháp: Nghiên cứu mô tả hàng loạt ca trên 61 bệnh nhân mày đay mạn tính và 34 người khỏe mạnh tương đồng về tuổi, giới. Kết quả: Nồng độ IgE toàn phần huyết thanh của nhóm bệnh nhân mày đay mạn tính cao hơn có ý nghĩa thống kê so với nhóm người khỏe mạnh (p<0,001). Nhóm bệnh nhân đáp ứng với điều trị thuốc kháng histamin có nồng độ IgE toàn phần cao hơn so với nhóm không đáp ứng (p=0,034). Kết luận: Nồng độ IgE thấp có thể liên quan đến tình trạng kém đáp ứng điều trị với kháng histamine ở bệnh nhân mày đay mạn tính
